1/4/12

I'm thinking I've lost about 3 1/2 pounds since Saturday! I am feeling tired, but in control, with a plan. I'm using up my Weight Watchers points quickly eating mostly Paleo. Fats, nuts, and proteins take up precious points. I refuse to try to fuel my body with fake versions of real things, or with too many man-made, processed items. I am using my activity points each day that I earn them, but I am trying to avoid using my extra 49 points allowed each week. I would like to reserve those points for a splurge meal once or twice per week. In the past, I have enjoyed this splurge on Saturdays, which keeps me motivated all week because then there is truly nothing that I can't "have".

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 T pasture butter, mushrooms, 1 strip bacon


Lunch: roasted red pepper and tomato soup over 1/2 cup basmati rice w/ 1 T Parmesan cheese


Dinner: so hungry that I forgot to take a pic...I had a salad that is normally housed in tortillas to yield fish tacos. I had 6 oz blackened catfish on fresh shredded cabbage, with tomatillo salsa, guacamole, and lemon wedges.

Time to workout...situps, pushups, resistance bands, arm weights and more resistance-type training tonight. I'm going to need a snack afterward. Lucky I earn a few points exercising!
