I'm doing great! 1/13/12

I lost 4 lbs last week, and I think I should definitely weigh in tomorrow down 2-3 more. I am working out 4-5 days per week, alternating between walking briskly 30-45 minutes one day and resistance/Calisthenics type training to build muscle on the opposite day. (Recommended by Dr. Mercolahere).

I feel in control and satisfied, and my food log is my means to see just where I am meal by meal and snack by snack. With so many veggies and occasional fruits in my diet, I feel "clean" on the inside and the wonderful, colorful nutrients have my nails growing and my palate interested.

One of our employees brought a delicious quinoa cakewith tzatziki sauce for me to try. A surprise breakfast that kept me full until lunch...


Lunch: spring salad greens, smoked almonds, feta, Bragg's sesame vinaigrette; grapefruit


Dinner: stirfry consisting of grass fed beef, broccoli, red and green pepper, celery, carrots, mushrooms


Dessert: 2 Girl Scout Thin Mints
