2/20/12

Coffee with half and half to start the day, then celery with herbed goat cheese for breakfast late morning...


Smoked turkey, a tablespoon of peanut butter, and an ounce of dark chocolate before a LONG bike ride late in the afternoon...


At the end of the trail. I biked for an hour and 18 minutes at a moderate, steady pace. There was a nice combination of hills and recovery stretches on the trail. I estimate that I biked 11 miles! Not shabby for a chubby chic on a Friday night!

I actually ate the apple after my ride. That, plus the sweet potato, were recovery carbs.


Dinner: steak, mashed sweet potato w/ a T of butter, 1/4 cup guacamole w/ pico de gallo and cherry tomatoes


Weigh in tomorrow. I listened to my PMSing body this week and rested as needed. I hope that missing a few workouts doesn't take away from my weight loss. As a side note, I believe my clean eating helped stabilize my emotions and cravings during PMS.
