3/14/12

This post, in an effort to be 100% honest, features my snack of 1T butter last night after yesterday's blog post. Ha! I accounted for this with 3 banked Activity Points Plus...

I am loving Tracy Reifkind's new book The Swing!! It is rekindling my love of the kettle bell and my desire for a bigger one soon! My largest current one is 15 lbs.

Coffee with half and half and a Texas ruby red grapefruit to start today...my six year old son made fabulous coffee!


Experimented with making (Melissa's coconut butter in my food processor. It didn't get super-smoothe, but is a delicious crumble. I enjoyed 1 1/2 T mid-morning. I've been wanting to get coconut and coconut oil back in my diet for their fat-burning properties.


Afternoon snack...1 oz cashews.


I took my nephew (L) and my 3 kids roller skating this afternoon...

My lunch salad at 5 in the evening. That coconut butter kept me full! This salad has homegrown lettuce and spinach, organic tomatoes, 1 tsp olive oil, lemon juice, and 2 hard-boiled eggs...


Dinner...sautéed peppers and organic onions with shredded grass fed beef and homemade brown gravy (broth, corn starch) over top. I also had 2 clementines.


Dessert...dark chocolate with hazelnuts and 1 T coconut butter. Tasted like an Almond Joy!


Today's log...


I did a 15 minute stationary bike ride and a 15 minute kettle bell workout from Tracy's book, earning a total of 3 Activity Points Plus.
