3/2/12 Damned Salad!

Another day of training! It was great, but a long day away from home and not much sleep last night. I walked during our lunch break, which was pleasing. I wanted to make sure I got plenty of veggies in today. I had a great Cobb salad for lunch, but knew the points would be high. I wasn't wrong--17 points for the salad and 12 points for the red wine vinaigrette dressing, which I still find unbelievable! I would be super-bummed if it hadn't been good, but it was! From a Paleo perspective, it was full of fat and protein, and low carb, so what could be bad? I used banked activity points to cover part of the fall out, but still ended the day having eaten more than I had points to cover...

Lots of coffee with half and half this morning since I was tired. Lots of water in the afternoon...

The turkey Cobb salad from Schlotzky's...goat cheese, avocado, bacon, turkey, a few croutons, hard boiled egg, black beans, salad greens, and red wine vinaigrette...a whopping 29 points were in that bowl! The chips and soda weren't mine.


Dinner time, and I was starving. I passed up the pizza my family was having and made myself a scramble of shallots, mushrooms, spinach, and 2 eggs.

Look at all the scratching and calculating. I ended the day 4 WW Points Plus short.
